True Colors. . .

I am American born and American raised.

Therefore I am proud to show my TRUE Colors.

Those of Red, White and Blue!

RED is for Valor and Hardiness.  It represents the blood that has been spilt to keep our country free.

WHITE is for Purity and Innocence

BLUE is for Perseverance, Justice, and Vigilance.

I live in the middle of a cul-de-sac off of a main road into the E. side of Alpine, UT

I hope that everyone that drives by sees that I am proud to show my True Colors!

Loving that porch!!! I see so many things that I like in your pictures!!! Looks like a wonderful place to relax. Love those metal chairs, have been looking for some for my yard!! I want a glider and a couple of chairs, oh well... perhaps one day!

Yes I am proud of the Red White and Blue!!! You make me want to get outside and play on my porch, but those triple digit temps are keeping me inside today!!! And yes, it is fun to be southern!

There was a time when my whole living room area was done in patriotic red/white/blue...being a military family. I have always loved the look. Love the red door!!!

Love the view from the back of your home!
I bought a couple of motel chairs at a yard sale recently. Didn't know what color to repaint them but, now after seeing yours...I do!
I live in the country, in GA, so no one sees my outdoor decor...but I decorate anyway...it's fun!!!

Beautiful Patriotic decorating! I love red, white and blue in honor of our country! It reminds me of summer, kids with flags on their bikes, fireworks at the beach and being teary eyed during the National Anthem at a ball game! SOo many wonderful items that scream USA! Love that red door, btw - so cool! This is perfect not only for July 4th but for an Olympics year! Love it all! Hugs, Leena

Hi, Jann. What a beautiful, touching post. You have every right to show your colors proudly, and have them there for all to see. I am a naturalized citizen--I know firsthand what this country is, from an newcomer's point of view. I came to this country in 1961 with my parents and little brother, with little more than the clothes on our backs, and this awesome, wonderful country of yours/now mine, enveloped us in kindness and gave us freedom and THE OPPORTUNITY to rebuild our lives. I, too, am very proud of to show my colors of the USA. And I love the way you displayed your colors. Happy celebrating the 4th. ~Zuni
