Share Your Cup #226

Hello and welcome to Share Your Cup, (SYC for short), the party where you share the things that make you happy.

It's what I call, filling your cup.

I'm sure that everyone is in full 'decking the halls' mode like I am.  However, I must admit that I seem to be moving slower this year than usual.  I've been up and down a ladder more times than I can count.  My legs just aren't what they use to be.  :)

I want to remind you of the Cozy at Christmas Holiday Tour that I am participating in.
I'll be sharing my post Monday, Dec. 5th.  Hope you'll come check it out!

Also, get your posts ready to link up to our
'Creating Christmas' party.
Each day there will be a certain topic that you will share.  Carol will start it off with 'Christmas Vignettes'.  I know that many of you make fabulous vignettes.  Be sure and link them on her blog.
Other topics and days are listed on the button below.

Hope to have you join us each day!

Now, what have I been up?

I introduced you to my family in Snow, this is us, a post that is a little different than what I normally share.

Neither of us enjoy having our picture taken, but every now and then you have to bite the bullet and do it.  lol!

I also shared how I added a bit of farmhouse style to our

Now for the features from SYC #225:

Taylor from Sugar and Succulents shared her lovely simplistic Thanksgiving table.

Lori from Dining Delight shared her cozy cabin Christmas display.

Lucy from Patina Paradise shared the clever advent calendar she made from an old spoon rack.

Julie from Cut Off in the Keweenaw shared her fun yummy yarn Christmas trees.  Don't they remind you of chenille?

Another cute repurpose idea was shared by Cecilia from

Leigh from A Porch with a View shared her fabulous new screened porch.  I could spend hours on a porch like this!

Thanks so much for sharing and please grab my button if you were featured!

Now let's party!

1.  I would love for you to be a follower of Have a Daily Cup of Mrs. Olson
2.  Link up a particular post and not your entire blog. Please limit your links to no more than three.
3.  Please have a back link to this post.  That way others will know where the party is.
Only those with a back link will be featured.
 4.  Please find time to visit at least two other participants.
It's a great way to find new friends!

After you link up, please come back and leave a comment.  They help to fill my cup!

Hi Jann, just very recently I found out about your blog and that you are hosting a weekly blog party.
Today is my first participation in your blog party and I am quite excited about it. My entree is number 6, titled Organic Garden Dreams: An Elegant Autumn Tea. I am mainly a garden blogger, but I also love English Afternoon Teas, England in general and Antiques. I think we have a thing or two in common ;-)!
I also have just become your follower.
Hopefully until soon,
Christina

Jann, I feel like I totally missed last week in blog reading due to the holiday and the fire that was lit under my feet to get my decorating completed. I just finished, and had to go back and catch up with your family shoot! Amazingly blessed, you are!

Thank you for hosting us, and I'll be back next week to join the party.

Hi Jann
I love your portrait photo! I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving!
My post is not at all Christmas-y but I wanted to blog about this historical event on its anniversary. I promise next week to have a more cheerful post.

Jann, I've been out of touch so am enjoying all these reviews. You look great! Love seeing the photos of you and your beautiful home. Busy, busy, busy here with house guests and all the entertaining around Thanksgiving. Now I'm knee deep in Christmas decorations. Hope to be finished by tonight. Looking forward to our Cozy Christmas Holiday Tour.
Thanks for hosting!

It's nice to see a picture of you and your husband. I like getting to know people a little bit. I rarely post pictures of myself either. It's silly how vain we all are isn't it? I'm looking forward to the Creating Christmas with some of my favorite bloggers!
